Shaykh Muqbil, getting
better...
Following our natural concern for
the health of the Shaykh al-'Allaamah
Muqbil ibn Haadee al-Waadi'ee, I
called Shaykh Rabee' ibn
Haadee al-Madkhalee just a short time
ago who assured me that Shaykh Muqbil was
getting better. In accordance with the
authentic hadeeth:
((maa.u
Zam
Zam limaa shuriba lahu)),
[the water of Zam
Zam is what it is drunk
for]...,
...the Shaykh had resorted to a
strict diet/fast of just drinking Zam
Zam water, which in his current weak
state and under the extreme conditions in
Makkah
further weakened his health and therefore
was rushed to hospital.
Shaykh Rabee' further went on
to ask about the brothers and how the
da'wah via the web site (SP) is coming
along, and I assured him it was strong, wa
lillaahil-hamd!
Having previously brought to the
attention of the Shaykh the efforts of some
in illegally copying books and making them
freely available for download, I further
brought to the attention of the Shaykh that
these people are now also removing all
mention of the translators and publishers
from such copies and further, adding
comments to the books. The Shaykh advised
that such people need to be warned not to
do this, as this is not befitting and
correct.
We ask all our brothers and
sisters to pray to Allaah (Subhaanahu
wa Ta'aala) to grant our 'Ulamaa.
better health and strength to continue with
the jihaad of propogating the pure and
un-adulterated Qur.aan and Sunnah as
understood by the early generation of
Muslims, from the Sahaabah, the
Taabi'oon, the Atbaa'
at-Taabi'een and those who followed in
their way...aameen.
